Calling All Friends & Family!

I have been meaning to start a website for my late husband, Tom Hitchcock.....

As many of you know, Tom passed away from Ewing's Sarcoma on July 2, 2007. As I approach the 5 year anniversary, I find myself needing more than ever to reconnect on a level I haven't allowed myself for a long time. I have come to the conclusion I want this to be as personal as possible, so I decided a blog was best.

I want this to be a fun, amazing experience for everyone to enjoy! I want pictures and stories emailed to me so I can post them here! I wish to honor Tom in a public forum where all of his friends and family can share your lives with him. Please post in the comments if you have a favorite story when you see the photos. You can log in with your gmail account to post comments (you might also be able to log in through FB, but not completely sure on that). If you don't want to create an account, please email me all your comments and pics to: SaraSupport@gmail.com.

*** There will be a gathering for the 5 year Anniversary this year. I am going to work diligently at collecting as many pictures, stories, videos and anything else you can think of together for the event. Please send me what you have!! ***

Tom was an amazing guy with a spirit to light up the room and a laugh that was ultimately contagious. He would give me the most amazing foot massage after working all night long, wrap me up in blankets with space heaters on both sides of the bed in the middle of winter. He would work hours into the night and still spend every waking moment showing me how much he cherished my presence.

Our Wedding ~ June 24, 2007

I adored Tom. His never-ending intelligence was incredibly sexy - I must admit. I used to sit up for hours into the night with him, laughing like we were family.....it was so familiar......He had a crazy-funny streak that everyone admired.....one year he dressed up for Halloween as a Raider fan....LOL.....

So I'm starting off lite, but I will share as many stories as I can with plenty of pics to accompany :)
I want this blog to be heartfelt....make you laugh, make you cry, bring everyone together to share the love, compassion, and AMAZING-NESS that was (and still remains):
